How well can we recreate the universal motif of a casual border in a POPPY style and sublimate it into a piece with a sense of elation? This top was born from such a personal quest.
The border of navy and cream has an eclectic coloring that captures the current mood while giving off a certain French chic.
In contrast to the classic look of the collar decorating the front, the hem features a bold three-dimensional balloon hem, which is POPPY's identity.
Although it has a strong form, the unique falling feel of the fabric creates a volume that eliminates excess.
Furthermore, delicate tucks are placed randomly on the sleeve. Instead of a perfectly calculated straight line, we created an organic silhouette that leaves some ambiguity, creating an ennui movement.
Romanticism and the lightness of borders. This is a signature item that beautifully harmonizes these contradictory elements.
